The Informant, by Kurt Eichenwald. It's about this guy who turns whistleblower on some price-fixing stuff his company is doing and, like, pretends he's James Bond and does allllll kinds of crap he's not supposed to. It reads like a novel, it's fascinating.
Coming of Age in the Milky Way is this great book about astronomy and its history and the people involved.
A Dash of Style, about punctuation. Ohhhhh yeah. I like reading books about writing, what, what.
The Cuckoo's Egg, by Cliff Stoll, a story of how a university sysadmin dealing with some computer errors ended up tracking down a foreign spy. This was back when most parts of law enforcement thought hacking couldn't be a serious crime. It would have made a decent piece of fiction, actually.
