tigerboat and i tried to draw layton in our styles, since he never seems to look right when people do that. mine just looked like he was coming on to me so i drew him doing something incredibly hot

this is from art class. the project was to pick an old master’s work and remake it (i picked http://www.oilpainting-frame.com/picture/image-69359.htm though it looks like the printer fudged a lot of details so some parts got lost, oops), by tracing general shapes and then filling in the values ourselves. so, the “outline” (i guess?? it’s not an outline) isn’t really mine, but the values were from me studying the original image. i would like to do this again without tracing!

i hate how the face came out sorry

aside from a few other sketches that are crappy and i don't wanna show, that's about it. january was an exceptionally bad month for art.
