fb connect publishes your full name (also some stuff on why pingbacks breach privacy; turning them off apparently doesn't always make them stop). if you don't know the full extent of badly that could go, read this. (p.s. i'm inching closer and closer to just deleting my fb account after reading the stuff on this article, the links in the "explanation" post, and this. jesus fucking christ, facebook. i guess you can put it on "lockdown", though)

my dreamwidth account is here. honestly, it's getting tempting to move there (and not just because i have the best username). dw codes are pretty easy to find on the news post if you wanna sign up.
i still don't know if i'm GOING to, though. the main thing holding me back is just that everything is on lj, y'know? it has more comms, more people, and you guys. it'd suck to split things up. plus, i guess lj still hasn't given us a stupid response, so maybe they'll fix things better.
